《廣海明月 1》 講次0013-2

 我們覺得學習經論是很麻煩的，我們會找捷徑去取得修行的成功。也沒有想過很多向內調伏啊，乃至到底用什麼樣的發心念這一句佛號，才能真的跟阿彌陀佛相應啊、跟西方極樂世界相應啊......很多東西。沒有對教理作過詳盡地聞思，我們就會覺得：「哎！就是那樣一回事情！」

We think of it as troublesome to study the scriptures and would rather find a shortcut to success of cultivation. We do not consider issues like disciplining ourselves inwardly or even what kind of aspiration to have while chanting the Buddha’s name so as to concord with Amitabha or Western Pure Land. Without carefully listening to and contemplating upon the teaching, we simply think “Alas! It has to be like that!”
