During the World War II, Cholera was speading in many places in Fujian and Zhejiang, which led to loss of many lives. We must know everything is no more than being attained by the power of karma. We are so fortunate to be disciples of the Buddha. Knowing there are many worldly solutions to the sufferings, we understand the most proper antidote of all should be to create good karmas and have correct faith on the three treasures. At the gateway of the greatest calamities, the three treasures is the only salvation and refuge, and the word “only” here definitely has significant meanings. – Master Jih Chang
