◎真正的皈依，不要在文字上轉，要在內涵上面去想。現在心裡是什麼狀態？是憍態？隨順自己的習氣，毫不在乎？還是戰兢惕厲，一心求皈依？心心念念緣著法，照著去做，才能改變我們的習氣，這完全是實踐的問題。「人不離法，法不離人。」所以做任何事情應恭敬啟白三寶。【日常師父法語】
To take refuge truly is not to ponder upon the words but to reflect on the connotation. What condition are our minds at? Is it proud? Following our habituated tendencies and caring about nothing else? Or it is cautious, diligent and eager to take refuge? Depending on the Dharma at every single thought and acting accordingly is the only way to change our habituated tendencies, which is totally about practice. “Humans should not live without Dharma while Dharma cannot go without humans.” Therefore, whatever you do, be sure to venerate and confess to the three treasures. – Master Jih Chang
