◎我們不是沒有聰明才智，可惜我們用錯了，聰明才智變成世智聰辯，然後被自己的罪過遮蓋，想很巧妙的方法逃避過去，讓自己成為漏網之魚，結果反而害了自己。聰明才智用對了地方，會發現自己的錯誤，錯了馬上發露懺悔，能如此做，「錯誤」本身也是懺悔業障，這是十大願王中的一個主要功德。【日常師父法語】
Not that we have no intelligence, we just use it in the wrong way and it becomes worldly talent and eloquence. Our talent is covered by our afflictions, and we come up with seemingly clever ways to escape the past. We try to make ourselves exception to karma, which is on the contrary harmful to us. Using our intelligence in correct ways, we can find our own mistakes and make instant confession and repentance. By doing so, “mistakes” can also serve to purge our karmic hindrances, which is one of the good qualities of The Ten Vows of Samantabhadra. – Master Jih Chang
