From a Buddhist viewpoint, the worldly standard for success and failure is infatuated. However, I would rather not ignore nor deny such standard. Yet we should first clarify the essence of success, target at the right direction and go ahead. If we take the right path, the result we obtain will be “happiness”, which is what we deserve. – Master Jih Chang
