宗大師這樣絕頂聰明的人都去跟所有的善知識學，那麼又何況是我呢？說學佛法不能夠憑藉自己的主觀臆斷、主觀想像，要看看傳承是怎麼說的、經上是怎麼說的、論是怎麼講的。那麼這麼說有道理嗎？要經過內心的反覆思辨、再再地去思考，所以它會被稱為是智慧之學。

An extremely intelligent practitioner like Master Tsong Khapa still had to learn from all Gurus, not to mention people like me. To learn Buddha Dharma, we cannot rely on our own subjective assumptions and imaginations but shall see what the lineage says or what are written on sutras or commentaries instead. Does it make sense to say so? We need to contemplate over and over and analyze repeatedly in our minds, and this is why it is known as the study of wisdom.
