月稱菩薩在《入中論》云：「慧見煩惱諸過患，皆由薩迦耶見生，由了知我是彼境，故瑜伽師先破我。」
Candrakirti says in 《Commentary on the "Middle Way"》: The wise one sees that all faults of afflictions come from the reifying view of the perishing aggregates. Knowing that I am in such condition, my Yogi refutes my conception of self first.
