為什麼來聽這節課呀？主要的目的就是要修行自己呀！修行自己什麼呢？就是要把痛苦的、不悅意的、纏繞身心的那些麻煩，透過聽聞佛法的緣故，能夠慢慢去解除種種繫縛，讓佛法成為生命清涼的一劑美藥，而且我們服著的時候覺得很愉悅、很歡喜。

Why do we come here to listen? The primary purpose is to cultivate ourselves. About what? It means, by listening to Buddha Dharma, to gradually remove all kinds of bindings – those painful, unpleasant, obsessive problems. Then Buddha Dharma becomes a wonderful life-cooling remedy that makes us delighted and joyful when taking it.

《廣海明月 1》 講次0004
這本《廣論》，它用三主要道攝要，先是出離心，然後菩提心，然後空性。比如一個弟子想要尋覓真理的時候，先要尋覓善知識，善知識要有德相，這個弟子要具足弟子相，然後師生相應，才能夠生起道次第最初的上師相應的量，才能得到後面的量。這一切都是有完整清晰的次第，諸佛菩薩在千經萬論裡都在講這樣一個次第。

In Lamrim Chenmo, Master Tsong Khapa uses The Three Principal Paths – first Renunciation, then Bodhicitta and finally Emptiness. For example, when a disciple wants to seek for reality, he first has to find a Guru with the defining characteristics. He also needs to have the defining characteristics as a disciple. Only when the Guru and disciple are associated with each other can the initial perception to be associated with the Guru arise so that the disciple can gain later perceptions. All these should come in a complete and clear sequence taught by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in thousand of scriptures.
