◎通常弟子對老師要謙虛，就算弟子知道，也要恭敬想學，那就學得好。學佛法也是如此，自己覺得腦筋很好，一自滿、驕傲，那就完了，即佛法上面說的「慢如高山，法水不入。」【日常師父法語】
Usually a student is meant to be modest in front of the teacher. Even an intelligent student can only learn well when he does it with respect. It is the same with Buddhist learning. If a disciple considers himself as intelligent and thus becomes proud and self-contented, learning will be unachievable. Just like what is said in the scripture: The water of good qualities does not collect on the heights of pride. – Master Jih Chang
