How can we change our long-time habit of creating evil karma? We should avoid wrongdoings and do good deeds. We must transform ourselves and understand the advantages of doing so or disadvantages, by behaving according to our previous habits, of not doing so. Our guru is the one that teaches us such transformation. It is correct cognition to do what he says, and it is good and clean activity to behave in accordance with correct cognition.
