◎儒家的正因和佛法暗暗吻合，因為它看內心，不在表面上的五欲之樂，故孔老夫子曾說：「富貴於我如浮雲。」孟子更說：「如彼其卑也。」正確的因果關係如看不清楚，只求眼前的果，將來是個大損害。【日常師父法語】

The “direct cause” in Confucianism implicitly accords with Buddhism, because it focuses on our inner selves instead of outer pleasures of the five desires. Therefore, Confucius once said “Fortune is like the clouds.” Mencius even said “That is just contemptible.” If we cannot see clearly the real cause-effect relation and pursue the closest benefits only, it will be great damage in the future.  – Master Jih Chang
