The earthly people are normally busy… with what? There’s the purpose – to eradicate suffering and to obtain happiness. As for suffering, we hope to remove it; as for happiness, we want to have it. And why do we choose the Buddha Dharma? It is because only the Buddha Dharma can correctly teach us about the true origins of suffering and happiness. – Master Jih Chang
