◎我們觀察內心的時候，一旦偏重在煩惱上，從個人去看，怎麼努力，也對治不了煩惱，於是，心就沉下去了；若能從整體去看，當我們看到整體的功德的時候，心就提起來了。【日常師父法語】

In the process of introspection, if we focus on the afflictions and personal issues, however hard we try, we find it difficult to eliminate our afflictions and consequently become downhearted. Otherwise, if we can see the whole picture and observe the merit, we get inspired.  – Master Jih Chang
