The flow of karma is mainly in our flow of consciousness. It is a pity that our flow of consciousness normally corresponds with our afflictions and get caught in defilement, which makes it very difficult to concentrated on Buddha’s teaching. Therefore, we must take refuge devotedly. – Master Jih Chang
