◎看到大家空下來、沒什麼事情、說閒話，我心裡面真是代大家覺得可惜，我年輕的時候不曉得用功，現在年紀大了，實在來不及了，恨不得現在一天有九十六小時整天的看書我還嫌少，大家居然把這麼寶貴的時間，拿來聊天，無價的暇滿人身就這樣浪費掉了，說閒話還造罪，好可惜呀！【日常師父法語】

Seeing everyone being at rest, doing nothing and chitchatting, I really feel sorry for you all. When I was young, I did not know to study hard. Now I am really aged, and it seems too late for me. I wish badly that I could have 96 hours to study every day. And now you are using such precious time on chitchatting, which is really great waste of your precious human form of leisure.
