真如老師講所有的煩惱當中，你最先要懺悔的是，對自己善知識的不信… 就算你從出生到現在，沒有造任何惡業，沒犯戒、慈心不殺、君子，你要問一下：我對善知識的信心有很圓滿嗎？我視師如佛是不是真的一點都不打折口，我是不是在剛剛那些例子的境界裡面，我都可以察覺到自己的不信的習氣呢？如果都不是的話，我們還有很多要懺悔的。　——如俊法師《月光共學》

Master Jenru told us that among all afflictions, the very first one you have to confess is your disbelief for the guru. Supposed you have never, which is very unlikely, created any evil karma, never violated any percept, never harmed any life, and have been a noble man, ask yourself: Is your confidence on the guru perfect and complete? Is your seeing the guru as Buddha really flawless. When facing the circumstances mentioned above, are you aware of your own impression of disbelief?
